The Sakochee Tribe welcomes descendants of mixed Native ancestry—those whose stories were nearly forgotten, whose bloodlines were scattered, and whose ancestors walked between worlds. Tribal enrollment is not just a legal process; it is an act of remembrance, identity, and restoration.
If you believe you carry the blood of Indigenous ancestors and align with the mission of the Sakochee Tribe, we invite you to explore membership.
Enrollment is open to individuals who meet at least one of the following:
Can trace verifiable descent from a Native American ancestor (documented or oral tradition accepted with corroboration)
Belong to a mixed-blood Native family with tribal ancestry from North America
Were historically or presently excluded from tribal rolls or federal recognition
Have a sincere intent to reconnect with Indigenous identity and support the mission of the Sakochee Tribe
We do not require a blood quantum. The Sakochee believe in ancestral truth over federal metrics.
